Necessary measures to keep everyone safe

We would like to give you some further information on the precautions we are taking to look after you and our staff.

We have looked at all our procedures from the time of your arrival to the moment of your departure, and we have adapted many aspects of our normal routines.

Current government advice for hospitality is that face masks are not mandatory however if you feel more comfortable please feel free to wear them. Porters are equipped with UV wands to disinfect all luggage. Rooms will be meticulously cleaned as usual, and will be sanitised prior to arrival as an extra procedure so that you can feel completely reassured.

We have reduced the number of tables in our restaurant slightly to allow for some degree of social distancing. Waiters will be wearing white cotton gloves to bring your food and drinks to the table, and we are using as few serving staff as possible while still maintaining a very good level of service. All public areas will be ventilated to allow for a flow of fresh air through the areas, this includes the restaurant.

All our staff are continuously undergoing thorough health and safety training to ensure they understand and comply with all the new requirements as and when they are changed.

We will contact you prior to arrival with full details of your reservation and arrival process.

The most important thing, however, is that we still have our lovely views, our pretty, comfortable rooms and a wonderful team of staff who are dedicated to ensuring that you have a relaxing and happy stay with us.

Very best wishes and thank you all for your support.

Olga Polizzi

PS Please make sure you book any attractions, National Trust properties, the Eden Project and all restaurants before you come, if possible, as many are only accepting prior bookings.
