Whether it’s a spontaneous dip at dusk or serious triathlon training, open water swimming has a magical quality. We’re surrounded by water on three sides so take the plunge on the gentle south coast – the world’s finest pool.
Open Water Swimming
Our coach Binney has swum in the cold water off the northern tip of Skye. Tubed down the whitewater of the river Dart, normally the preserve of kayakers, and taken a pre breakfast swim down the Amble emerging onto Lake Windermere just as the sun rose.
The sea is full of surprises, magical sea caves, sandy coves and smugglers’ inlets– let us show you the way.
Take the Plunge
We’ve teamed up with ‘In the wet stuff’ to bring you an open water swimming taster course in the clear waters around the Roseland Peninsula.
The package includes a three night stay at Hotel Tresanton including breakfast each morning plus four guided open water swims.
On Friday at 6pm there will be a welcome session where you will discuss your individual requirements and have your first taster swim session. There will be two swims on Saturday, a morning swim at 9.30am for 60 minutes and an afternoon swim at 3.30pm. The final wild swim, on Sunday morning, will bring together all of the skills you have learnt.
